The setting of the Rising Sun Pub is idyllic, as there are glorious views of the rolling hills of the Welsh border country in every direction and for walkers the site lies close to both the Offa's Dyke and Three Castles footpaths.

Whilst the site is set in the peaceful village of Pandy, many tourist attractions and places of interest are close at hand, or easily accessible due to good road links.
